This early collection was created primarily during my first year in the United States, capturing the diverse waterscapes of New England, from the Moshassuck River in Providence and the Charles River in Boston to the coastal landscapes of Maine. The mixed-media works on paper incorporate soil and water collected directly from these landscapes, connecting each piece to the unique character and material qualities of its place.
