This collection was developed during the Manoog Family Artist-in-Residence program at the Plumbing Museum in 2018. The works were created using various shades of rust collected from discarded plumbing parts salvaged from the Cannistraro facilities and the Plumbing Museum. Like other organic materials, rust responds to changes in oxygen, moisture, and pH, producing unpredictable textures that interact with the physical environment.
